Maximiliano Sabieno (Maxi)

Founder and CEO of Doki Doki Japan
I founded this school with only one clear objective:
“To break the barrier that separates thousands of Spanish speakers from their dream of living in Japan.”
For years I saw how many people felt frustrated. They wanted to study Japanese, but they didn’t know where to start. Or worse, they studied alone with apps or videos, without really making progress. And those who dreamed of working or studying in Japan found themselves with confusing procedures, impossible language requirements, and a total lack of accompaniment.
That’s why Doki Doki Japan was born: A school that not only teaches Japanese, but opens real paths to living, working or studying in Japan, without language or paperwork being an obstacle.
What is my role at Doki Doki Japan?
In addition to designing our educational programs, my daily mission is to build bridges between the Spanish-speaking world and Japan. I talk to Japanese schools, manage partnerships with companies, and perfect every step of the way so that our students have access to real opportunities.
I am also the one who accompanies each student who wants to study Japanese in Japan in a personalized way.
I take them by the hand to find the best school for them, based on their goals, budget, and lifestyle. I make sure they don’t waste time, money, or energy on options that don’t serve them, and I guide them step-by-step through the entire process.
I am the one who accompanies our most committed students in their transformation process.
My future goal at school
I want Doki Doki Japan to be the largest and most powerful Spanish-speaking community in Japan. A place where, if you speak Spanish and want to live in Japan, you know exactly what to do, who to turn to and how to achieve it. A complete platform, with a language school, employment network, housing, advice, culture… all.
And beyond digital, I have a very specific dream:
“To open our own Japanese language school in Japan”, where our students can be trained in person with the same spirit of community, closeness and excellence that has represented us since day one.
I want thousands of people to be able to say:
“Thanks to Doki Doki Japan, I also achieved my dream of living in Japan.”
