Each one contributes an idea: \u5b66 &#8220;study&#8221;, \u751f &#8220;life\/birth&#8221;, \u6821 &#8220;school&#8221;; and they can also be combined: \u5b66\u6821 (gakk\u014d) &#8220;school&#8221;. Thanks to kanji, Japanese gains semantic precision and avoids ambiguities. They have different readings: on (of Chinese origin) and <strong>kun<\/strong> (native). It is used for native words, particles (\u306f, \u3092, \u306b), and verb conjugations.
