Doki Doki

We started this school with one goal in mind, “to help students from all over the world learn the Japanese language in an easy, fast and fun way”.

We studied Japanese in Japan between 2017-2019 and it was a
AMAZING EXPERIENCE.

We also studied the language many years ago in our country and the classes were very boring and complicated. Even in Japan, classes were sometimes boring and hard.

That’s why we want to do things differently.

“Learning should be a wonderful experience, something you want to do and enjoy.”

Our biggest goal is to help students stay motivated, so they leave each class excited and excited to have the next one!

Cumpliendo el Sueño

Después trabajar y ahorrar durante casi 2 años, y como podras imaginarte ya sin novias japonesas, Sacha y Maxi cumplen el sueño de vivir en Japón como estudiantes.

Estudiar en Japón fue una de las experiencias más gratificantes pero a la vez más retadoras, ya que los japoneses estudian duro de verdad.
Luego de aprender el idioma, lograron conseguir trabajo y vivir en Japón por 2 años.

Sin salud ni trabajo

La llegada del COVID nos pegó a todos. Sacha y Maxi no fueron la excepción.

Tuvieron que volver a la Argentina sin trabajo y con Sacha diagnosticado de Lupus, una enfermedad sin cura.
Luego de esto decidieron seguir adelante y no ser más empleados de nadie. Por eso comenzaron más de 10 proyectos, pero todos fallaron.

Fundamos Doki Doki Japan

Un día un amigo de Sacha le dijo: "¿Por qué no aprovechan toda su experiencia en japón y dan clases online?" Y así fue que comenzaron a dar cursos cortos de 3 meses.

Al segundo mes Doki Doki Japan se formó como empresa, con la misión de ayudar a más de 1 millón de estudiantes a descubrir el idioma y la hermosa cultura que Japón les mostró.

Sacha y Maxi logran concretar acuerdos con empresas y escuelas en Japón, para ayudar a otros a cumplir el sueño de vivir en Japón. Se abre el programa Ryuu Kaizen, el cual ayuda a alumnos a estudiar o trabajar en Japón.

The Meaning of Doki Doki

The onomatopoeia “Doki Doki” means in Japanese “to feel passion about something” or “to be nervous about something”.

In our case we are passionate about teaching, we are passionate about the Japanese language, we are passionate about anime, Japanese culture, Japanese people… We are passionate about Japan! And we want to share this passion with all those people in the world who feel like us.

So, having a name like “Doki Doki Japan” came naturally to us.

I founded Doki Doki Japan for all those people who can’t afford $20,000 to get into a school in Japan like I did in 2017, also to help more people have the best experience when studying Japanese. My personal goal is for Doki Doki Japan to have a physical school in Japan.

I am an architect by training and that structured and detailed look has allowed me to lead educational projects. Sacha and Maxi invited me to join Doki Doki Japan to professionalize the student experience, optimize internal processes, and ensure that everything works like a well-designed gear.
